Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do you offer layby?

A. Yes we offer 3 month laybys & we require a 20% deposit at the time of making the layby. We do not split laybys - so when you come in to collect it, it must be taken all together. The 20% deposit is security for the layby & is forfeited should you decide to cancel.

Q. What happens if my child grows & I need to change sizes in the layby?

A. That is not a problem, you simply find the correct size & we adjust the layby accordingly.

Q. When do I have to make payments on my layby?

A. Make payments as regularly as you can.

Q. What happens if I don't need something that I've put on layby?

A. That's ok, we simply adjust the layby & put the item back into stock.

Q. Do you take payments over the phone?

A. Yes we take credit card payments over the phone.

Q. Can I make an order over the phone & send someone else to pick it up?

A. Yes, we just require the full name of who the order was placed under.

Q. What happens if I've bought the wrong product or size?

A. If the item is in original condition, with all tags intact & you have retained your receipt we will happily exchange for the correct item or offer you an in store credit note.

Q. Do you take American Express?

A. Unfortunately no, we only accept Visa, Mastercard & EFTPOS.

Q. Do you offer refunds?

A. We do not refund for change of mind. That means we do not refund if you have decided you don't need it anymore / you obtained it second hand / someone else already bought it for you etc. You must retain your receipt & we will offer an in store credit note/voucher to be used on anything in store over 12 months.

Q. How can you tell if something is a fault of the garment or just wear & tear?

A. A typical garment fault are usually things such as a missed seam, incorrect stitching, a slub in the fabric etc. The garment will be assessed as to whether it is a garment fault or simple wear & tear & then dealt with accordingly.

Q. What happens if I've purchased something that has a fault?

The garment will be assessed as to whether it is a garment fault or simple wear & tear & then dealt with accordingly. If it is deemed a garment fault & the item is new/unworn in original condition with all tags still intact & you have retained your receipt we will happily replace it for you. In the event that it is is not in its original condition & the tags have been removed we will try repair it for you free of charge. If however we are unable to have it repaired we will then offer a replacement or (if you choose) an in store credit note.

Q. What happens if my child puts a hole through the knees?

A. In the event that your child should accidentally put a hole through their knees it is unfortunately not a fault of the garment. We are therefore not obligated to repair/replace the garment. We do however have an alterations service & if fixable may be sent off for repairs for a small fee.

Q. Are you open public holidays?

A. Unfortunately no, we are closed all ACT public holidays. Our Queanbeyan store however is subject to NSW public holidays.

Q. I've received a price list/looked at the prices on the website but I went in store & the prices were different.

A. Prices are subject to change & while we are regularly updating our website sometimes they may temporarily not match when you come in store. The same thing may happen when you receive a price list however, prices don't change regularly.
